2018 Toyota Camry and Camry Hybrid

Are you ready for the arrival of the eight-generation Toyota Camry Sedan? Recently unveiled at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, the 2018 Toyota Camry is stirring Toyota fans and critics alike with its taut body stylings, new powertrains, and incredible safety technologies. Toyota Place is gearing up for the arrival of the new Camry, and we’re confident drivers in Orange, Huntington Beach, and beyond will love all it has to offer. You’ve likely seen many Camrys on the road, but you probably never thought you’d see one quite like this!

Exterior and Interior Updates

The 2018 Toyota Camry will take to the streets with a lower and more aerodynamic body. Select trims will sport a rear lip spoiler, 19-inch black machine-finish wheels, and other performance-oriented features. Special attention was also paid to the cabin, which gets upgraded front seats and upscale soft-touch materials. At the center of it all is the Toyota Entune 3.0 system with navigation. Available features, such as a JBL premium sound system, a 10-inch Head-Up Display, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, let you turn the cabin into a home away from home.

Engines and Specs

New engines are also in order for the upcoming Camry. The base model will house an updated 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with specs similar to those of the current Camry: 178 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. This engine will also work in accordance with the Camry Hybrid’s electric motor and battery, which will move from the trunk to under the rear seats for improved driver control. The Camry’s second engine, a 3.5L V6, is returning with some updates and roughly 268 hp on tap. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard across the board.

Safety Features

For the 2018 Camry, Toyota clearly went back to the drawing board and homed in on safety and crashworthiness. The upcoming model is comprised largely of ultra-high-strength steel, fortifying its body and giving it greater rigidity. Toyota also shifted the Camry’s A-pillars for improved visibility from behind the wheel. Lastly, the new Camry will arrive with standard driver-assistive technologies, such as Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Automatic High Beams, and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist.
