I wanted to share something extremely positive about a fantastic representative of Toyota named John Nguyen. I received an unexpected but very valuable phone call from him yesterday to remind me that I have some additional services that I’ve paid for regarding my Toyota that I wasn’t aware of. When he called, I’ll admit that I was a bit short and rude with him because I didn’t hear the beginning of the call and it’s entirely on me that I was less than kind in that moment. But John is so pleasant and Professional, none of that affected him whatsoever. I apologized for being short with him and asked him to accept my apology, and he simply convey that he just wanted to be respectful and not offend me in the way that he was communicating with me, which was very professional and soft spoken. We had a great conversation About how valuable he is to his company because I know his job is not easy. Making outbound calls to people that are not expecting. It is a very mentally taxing position. But John does it with ease and he does it with an authentic caring for the clients And customers of Toyota there in Garden Grove. I will say, in my years of buying vehicles, leasing them, and just interfacing with all walks of life, inside of professional environments, and outside of them as well, John was probably the most impactful person I’ve spoken to. Why is that? It’s because his goodness, authenticity, and clear appreciation for his role that he has with Toyota as well as his commitment towards delivering quality service on each and every call, made me realize I’m speaking with a very special person. Again, it takes mental toughness to pick up the phone call after call knowing there’s a 50% chance or greater someone is going to snap at you and not be that nice always. Jon is the voice of the company and it makes me feel great that this is my second vehicle purchase with Toyota. Because I know that I’m paying full price for a vehicle, but I’m getting even greater in additional value when I interface with people that actually care about my purchase and my family. There are not many companies that have great Frontline representatives that are fearless, possess mental toughness, and choose to have endurance mentally and physically call after call. I’m extremely impressed with this young man and I invite leadership to highlight him and recognize how valuable he is to the company. I just had a great conversation with one of the managers named Elijah and he’s just as awesome! what is going on? Lol there was a time when people find it sort of a necessity to deal with a dealership in all of that… This is the first time that I’ve ever had a joyful experience above and beyond what One would expect at a dealership. Thank you for taking a moment to read this as I think it’s important to highlight young people that are working hard in this day and age. Thank you again for the privilege to drive one of your vehicles and for the added bonus up being made to feel like I own a Lamborghini in the process. Jon is a great person and a quality professional. Hang onto him there 100%. He’s the best of the best! Anthem.
